AKS-74u Rifle: The Russian-made AKS-74u automatic rifle, a modified version of the .223 Kalashnikov rifle devised for use by airborne troops and vehicle crew. Described as a "shorty assault rifle," the AKS-74u is intended to provide the versatility and ease of use of a submachinegun without sacrificing as much range or stopping power. The AKS-74u has a folding stock and can be fitted with a suppressor and a silent underbarrel grenade launcher. USED BY: Raiden, Big Shell Core Guards, Tanker Guards.

FN P90 Sub-Machinegun: With a length of 19.7 inches (50 cm) and a weight of just 6.6 pounds (2.5 kg) with a full magazine, the FN P90 isn't a whole lot of gun to look at. It's 50-round magazine is perfect for both it's available Automatic or Semi-Automatic firing positions. Belgian company Fabrique Nationale began production of this weapon in 1990 (number suffix of weapon is named after "version 9.0", instead of year of production). Recoil is brisk but very smooth due to twin operating springs and guide rods. Downward ejecting allows for both lefties or right-hand users and an optical reflect sight with no magnification is also standard. USED BY: Solidus.
